We are looking for an individual who will support Chemical, Oil and Gas Services leadership, to establish and maintain a local operations presence in the NDT market. This position collaborates with Sales to build client relationships and staff operational work in support of those efforts. This is a newly created role intended to build and establish an operational market presence in a new territory.
Performing billable work and building the business by responding to local needs and working with the business unit personnel to arrange work and resources to support these activities
Prepare and manage local safety program, to ensure the safety of employees, compliance to local standards and consistency with corporate policies
Prepare tender documents for clients
Develop a plan for staffing the operations by working collaboratively with the operations and human resources teams
Manage day to day activities of operations, such as timekeeping, billing and hiring
Associates degree or higher in Business or related field; desired but not required
Strong technical background in NDT methods and procedures
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage people, projects and meet financial objectives
Excellent math skills with the ability to create and manipulate Excel spreadsheets
Ability to self-direct in order to accomplish the work load of the office
Ability to work in a fast paced office environment
Willingness and ability to meet a demanding work schedule
Strong written and oral communications skills are extremely important and the ability to work effectively as a team player is critical.
