Sales & Business Development Manager

The Sales & Business Development Manager will work closely with senior members of our global MHS team, Focus Team Leaders, and Regional Business Line Leaders to ensure that the marketing and business development initiatives ensure firm priorities and help drive the overall business strategy.
Roles and Responsibilities
Work with global MHS team, Focus Team Leaders, and Regional Business Line Leaders to develop and implement marketing goals, initiatives, and strategies to support business development.
Create strategy for and manage responses to RFPs, customized pitches, and business development presentations.
Identify up and cross-selling opportunities within existing clients to expand client business relationships.
Support Focus Team leaders by driving annual business and budget-planning processes and managing follow-up throughout the year.
Define and implement strategic business development and promotional initiatives as needed.
Identify and manage seminars, congresses, trade show booths, and other marketing oriented events and activities.
Event promotion, development of targeted invitations and other client communications, concept development, and vendor selection.
Target Account Selling of defined Focus Team areas.
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of relevant experience preferably in a medical device regulatory industry.
Demonstrated a high level of initiative.
Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision.
Experience working independently as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and clients.
Ability to contribute to the overall growth of our team by collaborating with colleagues and facilitating teamwork.
Excellent writing and presentation skills and an exacting attention to detail.
Project and team management experience.
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
